ClimateRISE Alliance is a collaborative, multi-stakeholder platform incepted in 2023 to build consensus, knowledge and narratives within climate resilience for vulnerable communities. Comprising 80+ CSOs, the Alliance works on aggregating and enabling efforts towards long-term collective outcomes and policy shifts, focusing on India-led community centric narratives
Within the ClimateRISE Alliance, there are five major working groups - Conservation & Restoration, Health Systems and Services, Gender, Rural, and Sustainable Cities and Service Delivery. Through the creation of these working groups, we convene our partners and build ecosystem goals and drive common-derived outcomes
Livelihoods and Resilient Agriculture
Building the resilience of farmers, especially smallholder farmers, against climate change, and protecting the livelihoods of India's most vulnerable communities.
Sustainable Cities and Service Delivery
Building sustainable and resilient cities and towns through systemic & inclusive climate action by enhancing local leadership & service delivery, particularly for vulnerable communities.
Conservation and Restoration
To enhance protection and conservation of India’s natural resources including biodiversity, wildlife and other ecosystems, by facilitating their symbiotic existence with local communities.
Health Systems and Services
To enhance the resilience of health systems and services by enabling local communities and governments to holistically respond to climate-induced health impacts
